Job Description:

Our Upper Marlboro, MD location currently has an opportunity for a Warehouse Shift Operations Manager to manage, plan and coordinate a shift operation for a warehouse distribution facility ensuring quality, safety and production requirements are met or exceeded.
Qualified candidates must have:
  • HS Diploma or GED required.
  • Some college credit is preferred.
  • BS degree would be a plus.
  • 3-5 years of general warehouse experience with a minimum of 2 years in a Supervisory role.
  • Knowledge of Warehouse safety regulatory standards
  • Basic proficiency with personal computer operations.
  • MS Office applications preferred.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems; voice recognition, Inventory control, Labor Management.
  • Coaching skills for team development
  • Fluent in English speaking and writing skills, secondary language a plus.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal and communications skills sufficient to communicate performance expectations and motivate and retain staff members.
  • Ability to apply conflict resolution techniques.
  • Certifications Preferred in Food Safety, Fork Lift Operator, HACCP.
