Job Description: Cardinal Logistics Management is looking for an Operations Supervisor to join our successful team in Gilbert, Arizona! The selected candidate will: o Assist in the daily operation of a transportation/distribution facility. o Assist in the management of fleet and drivers. o Oversee invoicing, routing, dispatching, driver settlements and other administrative functions integral to the operation's success. o Maintain DOT compliance. o Provide the highest level of service to both internal and external customers. o Act as liaison and communicate with drivers and customer to ensure that critical delivery parameters are met. o Administer fleet maintenance. o Other duties as required to ensure the operations runs safely and efficiently. Job Requirements: Skills: The ideal candidate will demonstrate and possess the following skills. o Proven track record in the transportation industry. o Exceptional customer service skills. o Driver and fleet management skills. o Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. o Demonstrated PC aptitude including the use of Microsoft office applications. o Ability to creatively solve problems as needed. o Ability to work in a faced paced environment with large volume and critical delivery parameters. o Ability to handle a high volume of phone calls. o Strong time management and organizational skills with great attention to details. o Knowledge of DOT regulations. Education: High School Diploma required. College degree preferred in Logistics or other related field. Experience: Two years of transportation industry is required.
