Maintenance Mechanics C Shift Monday through Thursday 5:45PM to 4:15AM *THIS IS AN HOURLY/NON-SUPERVISORY POSITION Responsibilities: *Assists in the installation, maintenance, repair and fabrication of plant equipment and facilities under the direct supervision of the Maintenance Manager and immediate work direction of Senior Maintenance Mechanic/Supervisor. * Assignments include but are not limited to building maintenance, electrical wiring, repair of conveyors, packaging equipment, hydraulics, and etc. *Performs periodic inspections, tests, and preventive maintenance on all equipment and facilities in accordance with an established testing and preventative maintenance schedule and reports findings. *Works from written and oral instructions. *Trained in reading mechanical and/or electrical schematic drawings, sketches, manuals, and specifications. *Works closely with the Senior Maintenance Mechanic in understanding and following work orders. *Works independently on routine problems, small repairs, etc. *Assists Senior Maintenance Mechanic with more complex maintenance duties. *Uses hand and power tools and other equipment as necessary to complete assignment. *Follows all company safety and security procedures. *Maintains a clean and orderly work area.
