| Job Description: Area Loss Prevention Manager - Region 18 - District 1282 Job ID107277 LocationScarborough,Maine Experience Required5-7 years Education RequiredAssociates Degree Functional AreaLoss Prevention & Safety & Hazmat Position TypeRegular Full-Time Relocation ProvidedYes Line of BusinessCorporate-Field Based Position Description The Area Loss Prevention Manager is responsible for maximizing NBT profit in assigned stores by reducing inventory shrink, the combined accident frequency rate, and cash over/short losses to the budgeted goal. The ALPM is also responsible for hiring, training, and supervising the Loss Prevention Specialist and Loss Prevention Manager positions in assigned stores and will direct, support, train, and counsel store management in all Loss Prevention and Safety programs. This position is responsible for the development, implementation, and execution of all Loss Prevention and Safety programs in all new stores within the assigned area. Will ensure that target stores are focused on their inventory and safety goals and that stores are using all tools available to achieve their goals. Most important, maintain a constant presence and communication with target stores, ensure positive action is taken to achieve goals. Will assist Regional Loss Prevention Director with investigations as needed. Position Requirements This position requires a minimum of five years Loss Prevention experience. Candidates must have good communication, leadership, organization, training and people skills. Candidates must also posses a demonstrative ability in the area of employee theft, investigation and interview and have successfully completed a professional interview and investigations seminar. Minimum experience of 100 professionally conducted employee interviews is required. Basic working knowledge of retail policies and procedures and multi-store experience are also required.
