My client is a mid-sized, full-service global Frieght Forwarding company. Services include Import, Export, Air, Ocean, NVOCC, and Custom House Brokerage.

Job Description:
Due to continued growth and expansion, there is a need to add a Route Development Manager (RDM) for the Germany trade lane. This RDM will be responsible for developing the German trade lanes. Responsibilities for this role include: Analyzing and having a firm understanding of the shipping trends into and out of Germany, Promote and collect export business, Establish agent relationships, Negotiate rates with carriers, and have the ability to travel to Europe on a continual basis.



Job Requirements:
The ideal profile will be an individual who:
1. Is professional in image and presentation
2. Has a minimum of 5-10 years experience selling freight forwarding services
3. Experience with the German trade lanes is REQUIRED
4. Has prior experience as a Route Development Manager
5. Being fluent in German is preferable
6. Is open to extensive travel
