Proven Agent Program Sunset's agent program has been around for over 12 years and our founding agents are still with us today. Variety of Transportation Services and Systems At Sunset we don't just want you to move truckloads. We have the ability to help you grow and expand your services to create and maintain your value and relationship with your customers. Sunset will work one on one with you to learn how to sell our services as a 3rd party logistics provider. Some of our services include: Set Up Requirements Agents will need a Windows XP computer or better with a high speed internet connection, printer, phone and fax line. Sunset will provide agent with an operating system, email address, business cards and marketing materials. Education & Agent Support Your success is our success; therefore it is important for us to spend time with you to understand the different services and benefits available through Sunset. We do our best to keep our agents informed and up to date by regular training sessions and newsletters. Sunset also has a single point of contact, agent liaison, available for any of your questions or help at any time, as well as an office of 35 who know who you are and can assist you with any of your questions. Credit & Receivables Running credit takes only a few minutes. Once approved, you will receive an email acknowledging the customers set up in the system and an approved credit limit. Invoicing Sunset does all invoicing upon receipt of the carriers invoice and signed proof of delivery. POD images are available to agents through our system at any time. Carrier Payables At Sunset, we pride ourselves on our near perfect credit score of 96. We pay our carriers in 21 days or less and also offer our carriers 3 different programs for quicker payment. 1.) Comchecks are available for up to 30% of the total load upon pickup. 2.) Quick pay is available 48 hours from recipe of a faxed proof of deliver for 3%. 3.) Next Day pay is available by ACH the day after faxed POD is received for 5%. Pricing Tools Sunset has invested in many systems tools which are available to you and any of your customers within minutes. The Sunset Freight Portal is an online quoting engine which gives you visibility to a variety of LTL carriers as well as a truckload rate for the lane information provided. Sunset will soon make available to our customers a system which allows the ability to not only quote, but, ship track, trace and view images from their very own shipping platform. System Reliability Our Agent system is web based, meaning as long as you have an internet connection, you will be able to access the system. Our servers are located on site in St. Louis, MO and are backed up nightly. We also have an IT staff available to us 24/7 for any assistance you may need. Online Posting Services and Tools Sunset will set you up with which ever online posting system you are familiar with for as little as $10 a month. Other items which are free for you to use are a Canadian posting service, an Online NMFC guide and Carrier 411 among other tools. Claims Sunset will handle your customer's claims on your behalf. We will work with you to make sure your customer has a clear understanding of the claims process and it is processed as quickly as possible. This is a commission based opportunity.
