DISPATCH MANAGER Position is responsible for all terminal operations in our Laredo, Texas location. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Management of day to day terminal operations for our Mexico transport activities. Manage all dispatch activities. Customer Service and Sales interface. Inspection and upkeep of Stevens Transport designated yard Schedule Carriers and Forwarders as needed. Forecast and make Carrier assignments for produce products. Provide productivity reports and analysis as needed. Verify inventories, load entries, appointment coordination. Single point of contact for problem resolution. Responsible for all on-site Human Resources activities such as training, hiring, discipline and performance evaluations for staff members. Job Requirements: REQUIREMENTS Five or more years experience with transportation operations. Ability to prioritize and work independently to complete assigned tasks with minimal supervision. Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment. Communicate effectively in a professional office environment. Supervisory experience required. Computer Skills Required - AS400 Operation System experience preferred. Microsoft Office. THIS POSITION REQUIRES PREVIOUS TRANSPORTATION EXPERIENCE, PREFERABLY WORKING WITH PERISHABLE PRODUCTS.
