    EXPERIENCE: In order to be COMPETITIVE for this position, you must have:
    • Masters or Bachelor's Degree with CA Designation
    • CICA In-depth TAX is preferred
    • Minimum of 2-5 years in a CFO or VP Finance role within a manufacturing environment.

    POSITION DESCRIPTION:

    The CFO shall provide leadership of financial management systems, financial reporting requirements, tax planning, budgeting, forecasting, ROI, IRR analysis & other assignments. Oversees all treasury, accounting, budget, tax, audit activities, financial and accounting system controls/standards; ensuring timely financial & statistical reports/recommendations for management Will work closely with senior management on the strategic vision and assist in developing the financial plan to achieve the organization's growth plans. Management and coordination of all fiscal reporting activities for the organization; budgeting, forecasting, tax compliance, balance sheet, revenue & expense, A/R, A/P, payroll. Maintaining and ensuring all adequate controls are installed and that substantiating documentation is approved and available such that all purchases may pass independent and governmental audits. Assist in the design, implementation, and calculations of compensation and performance incentives.

    QUALIFICATIONS:
    • Minimum of 2-5 years in a CFO or VP Finance role within manufacturing/distribution (consumer goods)
    • Strong leadership, analytical and organizational skills
    • Knowledge of CDN/US GAAP and tax laws
    • Experienced in fostering & cultivating business opportunities & partnerships
    • Supervision of staff, regular progress reviews and plans for improvement
    • Strong technical skills and knowledge of current financial & accounting computer applications
    • Excellent presentation & communication skills.
