Job Description: Aggressively seeks and initiates new business relationships with accounts that have been targeted by the company.
- Providing input for long-term planning for Industrial Projects and Oil& Energy to ensure future growth and development of the business and are aligned with overall business objectives
- Solicits and maintains favorable contacts with potential key accounts.
- Develops sales plans that support increased sales from targeted prospects by utilizing available DHL resources.
- Partners with local, district, and regional management to coordinate customer requests and services that are being promoted.
- Ensures professional sales coordination and account planning.
- Provides, coaching, functional guidance, advice or training to Business Development team
- Provides guidance and leadership in the design, development, implementation, and progress/success measurement of large, complex, cross-functional projects by using project management methodologies, conducting needs analysis, and developing plans, budgets, deliverables, and performance measurement tools.
- Meets with customers and prospects to understand unique needs through a detailed discovery process.
- Monitors project plans and schedules, ensuring completion within project guidelines.
- Develops and maintains productive working relationships with project team members and other key stakeholders by establishing and maintaining regular communication.
- Directs project team meetings with stakeholders and clients to discuss project issues, direction, and implementation strategies, and to solicit alternative viewpoints; facilitates problem solving and decision making through influence.
- Develops and implements customer specific enhancements that improve the overall service performance and profitability for DHL.
- Supervises two or more staff; responsible for hiring, coaching, training, and developing subordinate staff.
- Meeting all reporting requirements for AMNO, Global KAM customers of O&E and Projects and ensuring that targets are set and met for sales visits by the AMNO development team
- Working closely with the Global project and O&E Pricing team to maximize our success/hit ration in O&E and Project bids
- Support Global team on identifying key target projects and customers
- Coordinate with Global BD on strategy for global accounts
