Job Description: LOCAL AIRPORT AREA DISPATCHER (Position Located in Grapevine, TX) Towne Air Freight is a full service transportation company specializing in the handling of time sensitive LTL shipments for both commercial accounts and the air freight industry. ARE YOU READY TO WORK FOR A WORLD CLASS SERVICE PROVIDER? Towne Air Freight is currently seeking a local airport area dispatcher. The position is located in our Grapevine, Texas facility. The individual will be responsible for dispatching local drivers around the airport community, and other Metroplex areas. Incumbent preferably has experience dispatching in an LTL or air freight environment. Incumbent must work well with company drivers, owner operators, third party carriers, internal and external customers. Must have demonstrated abilities to multi-task and possess a sense of urgency. Candidate must have the following qualities: • Excellent people and team-building skills • Ability to establish and maintain profitable business relationships • Must have Air Freight, LTL or dispatching experience • Ability to work flexible work shifts, including evenings We offer a competitive base salary with incentive bonuses.
