Our ideal teammate- We are looking for a Branch Manager for our Boston, Massachusetts location. This position will have primary responsibility for developing and driving new and creative solutions to business challenges, through the use of their industry related expertise. Our Boston Branch Manager must have expert knowledge in US Customs regulation, warehousing, freight forwarding, and international transportation logistics. Our Branch Manager must be innovative, change oriented, customer focused, and possess excellent interpersonal skills. As a Branch Manager, you would be responsible for the successful daily operation of your location. Some of these duties are the supervision of employees, compliance with policies and procedures, monthly management reports, selling activities, and P&L responsibilities. We are looking for a motivated and flexible individual who is hands-on, has demonstrated success in developing staff, and keen business management skills. Our Branch Manager must have the following credentials: • Bachelors degree or extensive on-the-job experience • Extensive up-to-date industry related continuing education • US Customs Brokerage license • 7 - 10 years of customs brokerage experience • Transportation / export / warehouse experience • Willingness and ability to sign a non-compete agreement As a family-owned company, Deringer cares for its employees, their families, and their communities.
