Job Description:
This is a key support role in a continually expanding and fast paced business. The incumbent's key responsibility is supporting the Logistics Manager, which involves liaising with all departments within the business to ensure that all queries related to the preparation and processing of orders is executed in a timely manner. It is critical that this role delivers a high quality of customer service to all internal and external customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sales order processing for both Floorcare and Commercial with responsibility for specific internal and external customers
• Ensure that orders and invoices are processed in a timely and accurate manner.
• Ensure that all reports are issued according to a set schedule and are available for review by the Logistics Manager.
• Creation and maintenance of any new reports that may be needed by the business.
• Manage the flow of orders from receipt to delivery and liaising with our third party logistics provider.
• Monitor customer credits processing and follow-up on any related issues.
• Ensure that outstanding customer issues are resolved in a timely fashion.
• Monitor inventory position on a weekly basis and advise Logistics Manager of any potential out of stock products and subsequent allocations.
• Will be called on at times to provide direction and supervision to the SOP/Logistics Clerk and Logistics Coordinator role.

Education and additional experience:

• University degree or college diploma with at least 4-5 years experience in a related field or a combination of education and experience
• Must have strong computer skills (Microsoft Office) with an understanding of order processing systems. Knowledge of SAP and experience with reporting tools would be an asset.
