| Job Description: POSITION TITLE: DIRECTOR, QUALITY ASSURANCE JOB CATEGORY: SENIOR MANAGEMENT INDUSTRY: PHARMA / BIOTECH LOCATION: TORONTO, ONTARIO DATE: NOVEMBER 4, 2009 JOB ORDER NUMBER: 195905 EXPERIENCE: In order to be COMPETITIVE for this position, you WILL: • Have a minimum of 8 years senior Management experience with a pharmaceutical manufacturer • Possess a University degree in Science or related discipline • Be an expert in FDA, Health Canada and ISO regulations • Have prior experience directing the activities of a sizeable QA Department. POSITION DESCRIPTION: Our Pharmaceutical client is looking to add a talented senior executive to their management team in the role of Director, Quality Assurance. You will have National responsibility for providing leadership and strategic direction to the Quality Assurance team. This position reports directly to the Vice President of Quality Assurance & Quality Control. This role is one of critical importance to the organization and will have far reaching influence. Your mandate will be quite extensive and your team vibrant. This is a very exciting and challenging role in a very exciting and dynamic organization; the type of role which does not come available very often.
