Job Description:
Lowes is looking for an experienced Research Manager to take a lead role in developing and managing outbound research capabilities for Lowe's including telephone and online quantitative technologies. This position requires a versatile candidate with a creative mind as he or she will be responsible for effectively managing the evolution of several well established surveys and will also work closely with other departments to develop multi-media approaches for measuring and researching the customer experience. Facilitate, develop, and manage evolution of outbound research Serve as contact for cross-departmental interfaces to include other Research Departments, IT support groups, Legal, Human Resources, Work Force Readiness, and more. Serve as liaison with Research Department and Contact Center to coordinate and facilitate inter-departmental relationship building and communication. Manage execution of several large well established surveys as well as assist in leadership for developing proprietary panel and omnibus capabilities Coordinate with IT, Contact Center, Telephony, and other departments to advance and maintain survey related infrastructure Guide and mentor Senior Research Analyst to successfully achieve his or her programming, analytic, and reporting responsibilities and career goals. Evaluate and recommend internal and external resources for outbound research program development. Establish and build relationships with external and internal resources - to include contract negotiations, issue escalation/resolution and data transfer/hygiene for target study support.

Position Requirements:
  • 7 years of progressively responsible experience in managing outbound research programs, call centers, marketing research programs, or other relevant background.
  • Demonstrated understanding of best practices and trends for qualitative and quantitative research and data collection methodology
  • Bachelors degree in an appropriate field is required
  • Experience with CFMC, Confirmit, SAS, SPSS, or other online programming software, Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook)
  • Excellent analytic skills with high attention to detail
  • Able to multi-task and manage various types of projects simultaneously
  • Willing to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Strong team-player who works well with individuals at all levels within the organization


Preferred Qualifications:
Masters degree in a relevant field is strongly preferred. An MBA is a plus
