| Company Profile: Located in the greater Los Angeles area, the Company is a growing global 3PL provider offering warehousing, distribution, and freight forwarding services from LA and NJ. Job Description: This position is for local residents only. Sorry, Visa / sponsorship not available. The Company is seeking a proven "hands-on" 3PL Warehouse Manager to lead one of the company's Los Angeles area distribution centers. The individual selected must be able to move up quickly in management scope and responsibility to support the Company's aggressive growth strategy. NOTE: ONLY LOCAL CANDIDATES WITH PROVEN 3PL OPERATIONS LEADERSHIP EXPERIENCE WILL BE CONSIDERED. Responsibilities include: Complete DC management Strict compliance with SOP's Measurable continuous improvement in operational costs and customer service Total financial responsibility Team development and staff mentoring Setting up new customers Effective use of metrics to manage and control results Job Requirements: Minimum of 5 years of comprehensive 3PL operations management experience, including: Total warehouse operations, full budgeting and P&L skills, Bachelors Degree in Logistics or Business required(MBA a plus), solid verbal and written communication skills, Spanish Language proficiency a plus, strong systems background (WMS/TMS), ability and desire to roll-up sleeves and lead by example, ability to be both tactical and strategic and effectively incorporte each into daily leadership. |
