TITLE: MGR TECHNICAL SOLUTIONS - 01 WASHINGTON DC NC55591598 Position Information: TITLE: MGR TECHNICAL SOLUTIONS GRADE: V - 01 FLSA DESIGNATION: Exempt OCCUPATION CODE: 0334-0147 NON-SCHEDULED DAYS: Saturday/Sunday HOURS: 08:00 A.M. to 04:30 P.M. Functional Purpose: Plans, develops and implements technology solutions and services to support external commercial shipper needs. Works closely with software vendors and internal Information Technology (IT) organizations to enhance existing interfaces and design new solutions that will allow commercial shippers to easily integrate commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) software and hardware solutions in support of Expedited Mail product and services. Identifies strategies to formalize shipping solutions across shipper segments based on customized feature sets. OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS This position is only for the Technical Pay Band. Qualified applicants must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening to meet the U.S. Postal Service's requirement to be drug free. Applicants must also be a U.S. citizen or have permanent resident alien status. The salary will be based on previous experience, salary history, and current postal pay policies.
