Operations Dispatcher - Night Shift

We are seeking an Operations Dispatcher to run the night shift operation at our facility in Lexington, South Carolina to work a 4 on 4 off schedule.

Responsibilities:
  • Dispatch operations and planning
  • Assign tractors
  • Scheduling drivers
  • Hours of Service logs
  • Fuel Tax and Miles reports
  • Compliance with Federal Regulations
  • Complete yard check at the start / end of shift
  • Log and forward all equipment write-ups to the shop for repairs
  • Confirm and enter time cards
  • Scan nightly paperwork
  • Effectively communicate to management
  • Discuss equipment / personnel issues at shift change

    Requirements:
  • Associates Degree (Logistics, Transportation, or equivalent experience)
  • 2 years dispatch experience within the Transportation industry
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Must be a proven self starter with strong time management skills
  • Must be able to communicate, and professionally interact with Field, Regional and Corporate Management
