Job Description: MISSION The incumbent will be responsible for managing investment projects supply chain (transport, warehousing and distribution) of Danone Canada. He also is responsible for managing projects buying common goods and services, primarily management company cars, consulting, IS / IT, general services. RESPONSIBILITIES A-Head Purchase Supply Chain 1 - Stakeholder construction of Master Plan Supply Chain a.Define Supply sourcing strategy and deployment in Canada b.Support growth CBU through the identification and establishment of partnership adapted and improved the capillary network of logistics. c.Insure procurement rules and to develop analytical tools purchases of Canadian market in the service of supply. d.Implement all tenders related to investments in developing supply alternatives to the existing (need, service and investment cost) e.Analyze, compare and recommend the choice of supplier f.Present and support the technical solution recommended by the supply, the VP Finance, VP sales and supply. g.Responsable for drafting supplier contracts 2- Negotiate contracts with suppliers a.Establish the RFQ (request for quotation) to select new suppliers. b.Analyze service offerings and recommend scenarios to supply VP and VP Finance. Joint decision of the scenario to unfold. c.Negociate supplier service quality, timeliness and cost of service. d.Informe suppliers selection 3-Track service projects (cost, quality, time) a.Monitor the proposed purchase (respect for contractual obligations of supplier) b.Analyze, monitor and communicate the level of achievement. c.Act as a leader in the implementation of the proposed purchase of service within budget / schedule / quality standards Danone. d.Alert (VP Finance, supply, purchase) for non compliance with contractual commitments. 4-Evaluate providers a.-valuate and manage the overall performance of the supplier b.Define objectives of improving performance and action plans required c.Control the implementation of action plans 5-Market Indices a.Analyze market indices b.Recommand assuming the most relevant market c.Calculate new service costs B-Project Manager Co-sourcing (Pooling of companies in order to optimize the purchase of services) 1-Responsible for building the Strategic Plan Co-Sourcing a.Define the co-sourcing strategy and prioritization of projects. b.Having and support the plan chosen and the issues of productivity 2-Head relationship with the supplier of co-sourcing a.Contact supplier and it make available all information necessary for market analysis b.Challenge the recommendations and present them to the VP of the department concerned for approval. cS'assurer the performance of contractual terms of master agreement 3-Track Projects Co-Sourcing (cost, quality, time) a.Help the departments involved in the co-sourcing, in their analysis of contractual requirements, the adaptation of internal policies, the implementation of internal communication. b.Monitor implementation of projects co-sourcing: respect for contractual obligations (cost, quality, specs, period) provider. c.Alert in case of non-compliance with contractual commitments. 4-Evaluate supplier co-sourcing a.-valuate and manage the overall performance of the supplier b.Define objectives of improving performance and action plans required c.Control the implementation of action plans PROFILE OF CANDIDATES FOR THE POST • Education Bachelor's degree in business, finance or engineering • Relevant experience (types and lengths) 5 to 8 years of experience in strategic purchasing and supply-chain business (logistics) with strong negotiation skills. Knowledge sector supply chain, ideally food industry Mastering financial principles • Managerial Skills / Personal Qualities Contribution analytical and strategic Determination, persuasion and flexibility Management section (multi-business, internal-external) and sense of collaboration Sense Business and commercial sense with our suppliers Pro activity and anticipation • Languages French - Fluent English |
