The position will be responsible for supervising all processing activities through the various shift leadpersons. Train, direct and motivate employees to achieve department goals and standards on yield, quality/food safety, safety, productivity, and cost. Responsible for making decisions related to scheduling, staffing, quality / food safety and daily product flow coordination College or technical school graduate required, with 1-3 years in the food processing industry. Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing and must have strong interpersonal skills. Balanced technical/mechanical/human resource knowledge. Able to evaluate line employees fairly and objectively. Ability to interface on a daily basis with all support groups or departments. A background in poultry or cooked RTE foods is highly desired. |
