| Job Description: Inventory Control Supervisor and Special Project Supervisor ABOUT OUR CLIENT: Our client, has over fifteen years of experience in the apparel, distribution and transportation industries, the group has been developed to help service all of their customer's fulfillment and distribution needs. They are currently looking for additional supervisors and lead floor-man to supervise the floor of the -Garments on Hangers- division, by key performance indicators (KPI). The positions are available due an influx of new business and are full time positions, not dependent on seasonality. MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Inventory Control Supervisor- ensures adequate inventory of materials and products in accord with inventory cycles and organizational philosophy. Conducts daily inventory analysis to solve inventory problems. Develops and implements inventory control procedures. Coordinates and manages daily physical cycle counts Trains and manages an inventory team. Requires a Bachelors degree with 7 years of experience in the field. Major Duties: • Maintain adequate records of inventory adjustments - cycles, physicals and weight audits • Assist with Inventory Control. Maintains inventory accuracy. • Maintaining computerized inventory records • Performing cycle counts, investigate variances, adjust inventory records as required. • Directly supervises 3-5 employees in this area of operations. Special Project Supervisor- caters to the customers' special requests. Responsible for managing labor hours and accuracy of work that your team performs. Major Duties: • Administer labor logs to associates • Oversee special projects for a wide variety of customers • Knowledge in pick and pack, quality assurance and transload. • Teach associates proper placement of labels, tags, hangers or bags. • Work with a team to accomplish daily tasks • Directly supervises 10-15 employees in their area of operations. REPORT RELATIONSHIP: Directly reporting to Director of Operations SALARY: dependent on experience and multi-skills QUALIFICATIONS: Experience/Education: Ideal candidate must have knowledge of apparel industry especially GOH (Garment on Hangers) and a minimum of 3-5 years of experience. Must have experience and utilized Key Performance Indicators in managing the floor. Must be able to work long hours and able to become person at management level for the division. SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/COMPENTICIES: Excellent communication skills Strong knowledge in Garment on Hangers or Garment Industry Experience and thorough understanding of KPI Demonstrated ability to work in a matrix environment -- must work well across multiple units across the company Must be a team builder and a team player Must have ability to handle multiple tasks Computer literate English speaker/ Bi-lingual (plus) Good judgment and initiative Time management skills Organizational skills Flexibility and efficiency Demonstrate proficiency and self-confidence in performance and abilities Albion is an ISO 9001 certified full-service staffing company offering Temporary, Temp-to-Hire and Direct Placement services that is "BIG on Quality".
