POSITION TITLE: ACCOUNT EXECUTIVES JOB CATEGORY: SALES / FREIGHT FORWARDING INDUSTRY: INTERNATIONAL FREIGHT FORWARDING LOCATION: WINNIPEG, MB DATE: JULY 8, 2010 JOB ORDER NUMBER: 196414 EXPERIENCE: In order to be COMPETITIVE for this position, you MUST have: • MINIMUM 3 Years SALES in the Freight Forwarding Industry. • A HUNTER and CLOSER mentality. • Experience in a global freight forwarding environment as an Account Executive. • Experience in all selling all aspects of International Freight. (AirFreight / FCL, LCL / Warehousing). THE COMPANY Our client is a global leader in Freight Forwarding with a worldwide presence. THE POSITION Our client is constantly in growth mode, and as such; is looking for an International Account Executive. In this role you will be responsible for the following: • Aggressively seek new streams of revenue growth through non - territorial responsibility. • Maintain and grow existing customer base within an assigned territory. • Work with operations and customer service to ensure maximum customer satisfaction. • Negotiate rate and service agreements within the customer base for new clients and annual reviews. • Actively participate in Sales meetings. • Maintain customer files and ensure all updates are complete. • Participate in projects when required. • Stay abreast of Industry changes and trends, competitive activity and customer requirements.
