    EXPERIENCE: In order to be COMPETITIVE for this position, you must have:
    • 7 years experience in transportation. Experience must include staff management and leadership as well as financial (P&L) responsibility.
    • Must have experience using KPI scorecards to monitor carriers' performance.

    POSITION DESCRIPTION:

    A fast-growing 3PL is looking for a Senior Logistics Manager for a newly-created role at their office in Montreal. In this key role, you will be responsible for account management, customer satisfaction, employee relations and development. The successful incumbent must have exceptional knowledge of ground transportation across North America, including LTL, TL and intermodal; as well as strong leadership, communication and high-level negotiation skills. A key aspect of the role is identifying opportunities for cost-effective improvements or areas of opportunity through data analysis.

    REQUIREMENTS:
    • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, including client interaction and carrier negotiations.
    • Strong computer skills, including advanced Excel and experience with TMS.
    • Exposure to high volume delivery operations is required.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
    • Exposure to all modes of ground transportation (LTL, TL, intermodal).

    SALARY RANGE: $80K - $100K range base (commensurate with experience) plus benefits.

    EDUCATION: University Degree and / or CITT designation required.
