Batch Plant Operator

Responsibilities:
  • Operate the concrete mixer
  • Dump mix from hopper into pouring bucket
  • Operate a forklift
  • Properly weigh materials for mix, operate mixer, and deliver mix in a timely manner
  • Maintain housekeeping and quality standards
  • Other duties may be assigned as needed

Requirements / Skills:
  • High school diploma/equivalent or an equivalent combination of education
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instruction
  • Must follow company production and safety procedures
  • Ability to obtain forklift certification
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Required physical examination
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members
  • Knowledge of basic math skills (adding, subtracting, multiplication, and division)
  • Good attendance and positive attitude
