Maintenance Manager
 •  Lead the Maintenance employees to safely and effectively diagnose, repair and maintain all equipment within the building.
 •  Implement and utilize various data measurements to quantify the performance of individual's and the department, preventive maintenance programs, departmental costs, inventory and causes for machine center downtime.
 •  Audit and manage individual employees to ensure the continuing development of the technical skills required to effectively perform their tasks; and their ability to work as a team.
 •  Inform and train employees regarding safe work practices, methods to diagnose and repair problems in existing and new equipment, and assist in their development of technical skills.
 •  Possess a proven track record of demonstrating effective leadership skills.
 •  Conduct crew meetings and training as needed to ensure a safe and productive work environment.
 •  Interact within a framework of teamwork and cooperation with other functional areas within the facility.
 •  Actively promote a safe work environment on a daily basis.
 •  Provide leadership to advance the efficiency of the department. Supervises, directs, and holds accountable the maintenance work crews to perform planned / emergency maintenance.
 •  Responsible for PM development, identifying key parts inventory, and maintenance budget management

 

 


Qualifications

 

Qualifications
 •  BS degree in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or related field with appropriate work experience.
 •  3-5 years maintenance experience.
 •  2 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing required, food manufacturing a plus.
 •  Must be able to work any shift, weekends and overtime as needed.
 •  Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required.
 •  Proven experience in coaching and developing teams.
 •  Knowledge of electrical and PLC programming highly desirable.
 •  Experience working in a manufacturing and production environment and knowledge of process equipment LEAN manufacturing experience a plus
 •  Ability to manage multiple priorities and work within tight timeframes and deadlines
 •  Strong 'hands on' approach
 •  Independent and Strong through leadership
 •  Well-developed creative problem solving skills
