Job Description:
The consultant's role is to work with the company's senior executive team to drive the company's most strategic operational initiatives, implementing innovative solutions, measuring results early and often, and ensuring the desired performance. Consultants are called on to deliver outstanding client results, direct client personnel, prepare work plans, facilitate client teams to implement recommendations, organize and write proposals, and participate in new business development.

Qualifications:
Positions require a MBA, PhD, or equivalent post-graduate degree from a top business school, together with an undergraduate degree in engineering, economics, or business.

PRTM seeks consultants at all levels, with experience working for management consulting firms and/or significant work experience in one of the following industry segments:

Aerospace and Defense: Experience in aerospace and defense OEMs and suppliers in operations and supply chain, strategic sourcing, marketing and sales, organization design, and/or product innovation. Relevant security clearances are a distinct advantage.

Automotive: Experience with automotive OEMs and suppliers in supply chain management, strategic sourcing, manufacturing operations, product development, and/or product/portfolio strategy. Chemical and Process Industries: Experience in chemicals/materials in supply chain management, strategic sourcing, international logistics and transportation, distribution, and/or supply/demand planning.

Communications/Media: Experience with service providers, Internet/content providers, and infrastructure OEMs in mergers and acquisitions, operations and supply chain, marketing and sales, customer experience management, organization design, and/or product innovation.

Consumer Products: Experience in food or packaged goods industries (including sectors such as household goods, personal care, apparel, food and beverage, etc.) in supply chain management, strategic sourcing, international logistics and transportation, distribution, and/or supply/demand planning.

Electronics and Computing: Experience in consumer electronics, computers, electronic equipment, network equipment, semiconductors, or semiconductor equipment industries in supply chain management, strategic sourcing, supply/demand planning, line management, CM/production management, strategic supply/commodity management, sales operations, and/or service management. Professional certifications such as CPIM, CSCP, or CPM are desirable.

Energy and Utilities: Experience with oil and gas, utilities, and alternative energy companies in operations and supply chain, strategic sourcing, marketing and sales, organization design, and/or product innovation.

Health Care Services: Consulting experience in health care delivery, or health care payer consulting, preferably in government agencies (e.g., US, VA, or DoD) or to non-government health care service companies. Extensive experience in business development, strategy, new service development, and/or operations.

Industrial: Experience in industrial sector manufacturers in operations and supply chain, strategic sourcing, marketing and sales, organization design, and/or product innovation.

Life Sciences: Experience in a pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical devices, or a consulting firm, with practical work experience in supply chain, operations, quality and regulatory management, product development, planning and strategy, addressing relevant products such as biologic drugs, vaccines, diagnostics, pharmaceuticals, and medical devices.

Private Equity: Experience in operations, mergers and acquisitions, and/ or post-merger integration in a range of industries and/or direct private equity consulting experience.

Software: Experience in Microsoft, Oracle, SAP, or embedded system software development and operations.
