Position Overview/Responsibilities:

  • This position will assist the external reporting department with SEC reporting, updating and implementing internal accounting policies, and the global adoption of new accounting standards.
  • During this internship, the role will be working on filing with the SEC on Forms 10-Q and 10-Ks. We have recently executed multiple acquisitions and will need assistance in ensuring the appropriate implementation of accounting policies and procedures.
  • Throughout the work on each of these projects, this position will engage with not only the external reporting department, but also have direct interaction with the general accounting, FP&A, HR/benefits, and internal audit departments with additional exposure to the external auditors as well. Interns may also interact with the controllers and finance leads at certain of our global subsidiaries.
  • By participating in this internship, candidates can gain SEC reporting, technical accounting, and project management experience as well as an appreciation for the process involved to support those efforts. In addition, interns will learn to work cross-functionally with other departments in the organization and expand their accounting knowledge.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Majors sought: Accounting
  • Year in school: Juniors Senior
  • Full-time student (12 semester hours) attending an accredited four-year university
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Ability to work 15-20 hours per week during the Spring 2019 semester
