As the Director of HR Technology, you will be responsible for the support and maintenance of the Global Human Resources Management System and end-to-end process design in conjunction with the key line of business partners. In this key role you will contribute to the HR Technology strategy for the HRMS platform, lead the implementation of new functionality, and interact with leaders inside and outside of the Human Resources organization. This role is critical in positioning XPO for long-term success.

What you'll do on a typical day:

  • Serve as a HRMS authority, leading collaboration across the technical, information, and business domains within HR and IT to execute on a strategic roadmap
  • Provide project management, prioritization, direction, and leadership to staff in order to accomplish approved projects and support activities
  • Partner to develop, implement, and evaluate all Human Resources supporting systems to ensure an integrated approach to all HR practices, policies, and procedures
  • Identify areas to use new technologies as leverage to build enhanced employee service or improved operational efficiencies; understand the latest technology to ensure all potential solutions represent the best possible use of technology
  • Manage application configuration, end user documentation and functional training guides
  • Deliver HR systems training to end users
  • Work on deeply complex problems where analysis of situations and data requires immediate technical solutions
  • Maintain active relationships with key technology business partners, helping to inform the roadmap, and make decisions

What you need to succeed at XPO:

At a minimum, you'll need:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Human Resources, Business, Management, Information Technology, or related field
  • 12 years of meaningful strategic and tactical HR and HR Systems experience

It'd be great if you also have:

  • Master's degree
  • Experience with Success Factors suite of applications
  • Experience leading onshore and offshore teams to implement key HR technology solutions
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ability to create complex formulas in Excel, and quickly learn and achieve proficiency in new software applications
  • Proficiency with HR systems and tools
