Job Summary:

Acts as central point of contact for the procurement and distribution of goods for international requisitions. Job duties include coordinating the procurement, packaging, shipping and invoicing of products in compliance with global export requirements.


Reports to the Replenishment Manager and interacts with the following:

  • Inventory Planning
  • Destination country's Logistics
  • Operations
  • Sourcing
  • Suppliers
  • Logistics providers

Essential Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Execute the procurement of goods in accordance with the sourcing plan and the internal processes
  • Arrange the domestic and international movements of the materials in order to ensure the timely arrival to the port/airport of destination
  • Coordinate the packing and labeling of materials
  • Generate shipping documentation in accordance with the destination's requirements and local regulations
  • Make sure export documents generated by the suppliers and freight forwarders are transmitted in a timely manner
  • Daily monitor the status of assigned requisitions and record inputs in the status reports
  • Solve potential problems associated with procurement and domestic/international logistics
  • Execute the system transactions associated with the purchase, movement, reception, shipment, selling, and invoicing of goods and maintain system data accuracy
  • Ensure that all the activities comply with customs requirements and internal Trade Control polices. Special attention should be given to dangerous and/or controlled items
  • Provide the internal customers with timely information and updates about the status of assigned requisitions
  • Propose solutions to customers issues
  • Record service quality incidents
  • Collect information and analyze the root cause of failures
  • Propose and implement process improvements
  • Participate in the redaction of internal work instructions and procedures
  • Train new team members if needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

  • BA/BS Degree in Supply Chain Management, or equivalent
  • 2 years of international logistics experience
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Outlook and Excel
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to think critically and propose solutions to problems
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision
