Manufacturing

As part of Manufacturing, you'll use your skills, our systems and a wide array of raw materials to help create the delicious finished products our consumers love. While taking ownership in your area of work, you'll also ensure the safety of yourself and your colleagues while producing our top-quality products reliably and efficiently within our integrated supply chain.

Primary Duties:

  • Fully plan work orders, including internal operations, material purchases/requisitions, services, etc...
  • Coordinate and organize with the maintenance and operations departments the preventive maintenance schedule of the machinery, tooling and general services
  • Distribute weekly Preventative Maintenance work orders (cleaning, lubrication, adjustments, inspections, small repairs, replace materials/parts)
  • Gather data and produce reports as required by Maintenance Operational Leader
  • Review planned and confirmed work orders and maintenance history recordings for accuracy
  • Review Loss Analysis breakdown data to determine remedies needed to keep breakdowns from reoccurring
  • Review work order feedback from the trades and update maintenance plans, tasks, or timing as needed
  • Participate/Facilitate in scheduling and shift crossover meetings
  • Participate/Facilitate weekly team meetings where weekly KPI's, action item status, and maintenance performance is reviewed, and actions planned
  • Participate weekly scheduling meeting for long range planning
  • Complete daily, weekly and monthly reports as required
  • Generate and distribute work order back log report
  • Create work orders for tasks identified by either the maintenance trades, team leaders or Engineering department for equipment that is in need of repair or Special projects
  • Work with Stockroom Personnel to collect parts needed to complete work orders
  • Manage regulatory PM documents
  • Review work notification requests coming from various departments
  • Ensure compliance of proper safety, quality and environmental requirements in work

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or other technical field preferred
  • 5 years of manufacturing experience in maintenance or operations
  • Two years supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience in plant maintenance and operations preferred
  • Demonstrated abilities in problem solving, and team building
  • Knowledge and experience of continuous improvement, Total Production Maintenance (TPM) principles, and lean six sigma tools preferred
  • Previous experience with SAP required
  • Ability to set priorities, work independently, and coordinate multiple projects utilizing available resources
