As the Customer Billing Requirements and Resolution Analyst, you will review and analyze customer billing requirements and accurately set up customers to ensure their accounts flow through XPO systems correctly. You'll proactively acquire and document customer billing information and communicate closely with Sales and Accounts Receivable representatives to resolve billing errors for existing customers. What you'll do on a typical day:

  • Acquire and document billing requirements
  • Define and create metrics to measure the effectiveness and timeliness of processes; maintain quality and service levels with internal and external clients
  • Communicate cross-functionally to resolve open tasks
  • Develop a strong understanding of internal technologies required for daily functions; continuously seek opportunities to improve current processes
  • Audit carrier freight bills and interpret tariffs and contracts
  • Investigate and diagnose potential errors and duplicate carrier billing; ensure issues are addressed in a timely manner and inform designated parties
  • Facilitate and improve the efficiency of the current routing of freight bills and the billing cycle time from carrier freight bill to client payment

What you need to succeed at XPO:

At a minimum, you'll need:

  • Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 2 years of experience in customer service, accounts receivable, invoicing or transportation/logistics

It'd be great if you also have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Transportation/Logistics
  • Effective written and verbal communications skills; ability to clearly communicate to audiences at various levels of the organization
  • Computer experience, including spreadsheet and data entry skills
