Overview The Senior Manager of Account Management & Onboarding is responsible for driving the service value promise to Managed Transportation/LLP customers or other core Integrated Solutions Group customers. This individual will also monitor and directly contribute to the health of customer P&Ls, while also seeking to identify areas of opportunity to drive growth.

This position manages a staff of Account Managers and will in work close collaboration with internal stakeholders which include: direct operations, pricing and carrier management team, Supply Chain Solutions, and our ultimate external customers.

This individual will work in a dynamic matrix organization leading change initiatives to drive continuous improvement internally and/or for the customer.

  • Manage Staff - set goals, coach, mentor, hire, and manage performance for a staff of 3-6 employees.
  • Operations Account Management - create account plans and maintain SOP's (standard operating procedures) for key accounts. Monitor account level P&L results, establish appropriate KPIs to manage overall supply chain performance, identify sources of issues (internal or external) and ultimately drive overall improvement. Identify and initiate projects with Supply Chain Solutions and/or Carrier Management and Pricing team(s).
  • Commercial Relationships - develop and maintain relationships with key existing customers including renewing pricing agreements, hosting proactive business reviews (QBR's) as well as troubleshooting/resolving escalated service issues or claims.
  • Onboarding - support final solution and sales cycle steps as awarded business transitions from sales to implementation through go live. Ensure proper project plan and stakeholders are engaged and accountable for actions related successful business implementation.
  • Support Leadership and Sales by providing assistance as it relates to solutions, proposals, presentations and new business implementations.

  • Bachelor's degree with a preferred focus on Transportation, Logistics, Business Management or finance
  • 5+ years of supply chain/logistics experience.
  • Experience leading and developing teams.
  • Strong accuracy and attention to detail with an ability to multitask and take initiative.
  • Desire to work in a fast paced, ever changing, positive environment.
  • Keen ability to assess situations, perform root cause analysis, and provide solutions. Ability to think things through and develop processes that contribute to enhanced organizational efficiency.
  • Demonstrates self-confidence when presenting to individuals or a group.
  • Must be proficient in Excel, Word, Power-Point and Outlook.
  • Lean or Six Sigma Green Belt Training preferred.
  • Ability to travel up to 20%.
