Order Fulfillment Branch Analyst

The Order Fulfillment Branch Analyst is primarily responsible for supporting the inventory level across the network for US DSD branches service the $5.6 billion Direct Store Delivery business. This position is responsible for monitoring and analyzing inventory levels and network balance across 49 DSD branch locations in the US. The analyst utilizes data from APO Planning Books and numerous report tools, and collaboration with cross functional partners to provide tactical direction to Order Fulfillment Branch Planners with the goal of maintaining adequate inventory and service parity throughout all 49 branches.

The individual will support overall CFR target of 97.5%; branch utilization target of 85% or less; 100% deployment of seasonal SKUs/new item launches; optimal service performance on Class A, top 25 SKUs by area, and promotional items by providing branch-level reporting and analytics to the Order Fulfillment organization. The Branch Analyst will perform multi-level root cause analysis on all branch replenishment KPIs and develop reporting tools to be used by Order Fulfillment and CS&L leadership in strategic decision making.

The Analyst will assist the Order Fulfillment Branch Lead in monitoring team performance to KPIs. The Analyst will assist the Network Order Fulfillment Planner and Location Demand Planner with supply/forecast/demand reviews.

The individual will collaborate closely with CPFR Analysts to understand customer promotional activities and give deployment direction to Branch Planners to ensure proper inventory placement.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide direction to OF Branch Planner to support KPIs and customer promotional programming

  • Create and distribute regular reporting of DSD metrics the Order Fulfillment organization

  • Monitor New Item deployment to specified launch allocations

  • Track and monitor inventory levels and service performance for Class A skus, Top 25 volume skus, and Promotional product groups for parity across 49 DSD branches

  • Conduct multi-level root cause analysis for DSD branch service; develop plans for corrective actions and process improvements

  • Develop and distribute regular reporting for use by Order Fulfillment and field stakeholders

  • Provide hyper-care to branches experiencing poor service

  • Execute ad hoc reporting and analysis for special situations

  • Provide reporting and recommendations to Branch Leads and Order Fulfillment AD for strategic decision making.

  • Create and maintain training documentation
