YOUR ROLE

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

 •   The Wave Planner is responsible for compiling orders from the customer into waves for the order selectors to pick. 
 •   Responsible for wave planning in Manhattan by coordinating orders with shipping and transportation, tracking the progress of waves, releasing work to the floor, and maintaining an open line of communication with the operators. 
 •   Assigns orders by priority and monitors order queue to ensure balance of orders. 
 •   The wave planner will provide prompt detailed communication to the Management team in case of any service level concerns. 
 •   Responsible for recording individual production and updating production boards. 
 •   Will perform other job duties as assigned.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES

 •   Education and/or Experience 
 •   High School Diploma or equivalent 
 •   1 - 3 years of experience in a distribution center 
 •   Prior administrative experience. Customer Service experience preferred. 
 •   Strong general knowledge of Manhattan preferred 
 •   Proficient using a Personal Computer. Experience using Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel,) 
 •   Ability to multi-task 
 •   Strong Organizational and Prioritizing Skills 
 •   Ability to communicate effectively 
 •   Strong analytical skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision
