Customer Service & Logistics (CS&L) is where you'll integrate our end-to-end demand-driven supply chain. Working "from farm to shelf," you'll connect plants with customers to deliver best-in-class service in the most efficient way. Your goal will be to have the right products, at the right time, and with the right quantity and quality on the shelf.
Job Scope
The Transportation Operations Service Specialist occupies a pivotal role in Supply Chain directly and is the "Face" of Transportation. This role primarily deals with day to day transportation tasks of service, on time pickup and delivery within the North America network. Direct communication with the Field Logistic Operations 3PL with customer sales orders by maximizing trailer capacity for deliveries, ensure sales orders meet proper weight requirements for customer pick up loads, tie multiple sales orders PO's within OTM, day to day date changes and communication to the network due to carrier delays i.e. equipment failures and natural disasters which prevents timely pickups and deliveries. Facilitator between internal customer groups and external carrier contacts to ensure attainment of service level.
Key Responsabilities


  • Shipment on time pick up (24 or more holdovers) and deliveries



  • Root cause analysis



  • Monitor systematic data flow between OTM and SAP systems



  • Carrier date change requests



  • Linkage with Replenishment (Expedite, track/trace of loads, delivery concerns)



  • Linkage with Customer service (Expedite, tracking/trace of loads, delivery concerns)



  • Linkage with Distribution, Field and 3PL (Trailer needs, carrier issues, service trends)
