What you'll do on a typical day:
Take ownership of customer needs and work internally on behalf of the customer
Identify the causes of problems and take appropriate resolution steps
Respond to customer inquiries promptly
Escalate issues appropriately
Enter data accurately for all customer interactions
What you need to succeed at XPO:
At a minimum, you'll need:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3 years of customer service experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel), and other business-related applications
It'd be great if you also have:
- 1 year of transportation industry experience
- Familiarity with CRM technology, e.g., Salesforce.com
- Ability to identify and help implement continuous improvement solutions
- Ability to understand instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform required tasks
