Penske Logistics is looking for warehouse associates to become part of an excellent team. This is a great opportunity for individuals who are safety conscious and have a pleasant, outgoing attitude who want to excel in a warehouse environment.
We operate a clean warehouse supplying appliances to Northeast customers. This is an entry level position with the ability to be trained as a forklift operator. This position will be 2nd shift with potential overtime possible. Full-time opportunity! $13.25/hour base $0.50/hour shift differential!
We offer excellent benefits, retirement plans, paid holidays, paid vacation and sick days! Warehouse Associates are eligible for a weekly Productivity Incentive, up to an extra $1.88/hour ($75/week).
-Prepare product for delivery by counting the number of pieces, scanning UPC codes, transferring data to computer
-Ensure that all product on packaging list are scanned and carton is labeled accurately
-Review manifests for accuracy and make necessary corrections
-Inspects cartons for damage
- Accurately match numbers & letters
-Electronically scan inbound and outbound products using a warehouse management system
-Maintain a clean and safe work area
-Move materials within the warehouse
-Complies with all safety requirements
-Ensure damaged products are identified and removed when received
-Complete daily activity log
-Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor
-High school diploma or equivalent preferred
-Proficient reading skills and ability to follow directions required
-Ability to work independently, customer service, dealing with others, multi-tasking skills, organizational skills, flexibile, excellent with numbers and time management skills required
-Flexible to work overtime preferred
-Ability to work in non-climate controlled conditions required
-Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
-Willingness to work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required.
