Due to new Customer Partnerships we are growing and expanding our business and as a result, we are looking for new talent to join our team! * 3rd Shift Overnight - Start time between 11pm - 3am * GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES: The Shipping/Receiving Clerk is responsible for receiving calls for incoming deliveries, entering inbound freight into appropriate systems, and balances the scheduling for incoming deliveries to ensure efficient receiving, as well as maintaining the accuracy of records concerned with warehouse shipping. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Makes daily appointments to ensure independent truckloads of products are efficiently scheduled during receiving hours of operation. * Verify quantities against bills waiting and close out purchase orders. * Review Open Purchase Order report and communicate with buyers. * Coordinates between purchasing and receiving on late trucks and emergency loads. * Processes information accurately and timely. * Enters, verifies and adjusts company specific units of work and creates load maps. * Reprints, zeros out and closes out units of work using AS400. * Works with supervisors to insure that all work orders are selected and able to be closed out for efficient invoicing. * Must be willing to work in a fast paced environment. * Complete special projects and other duties as assigned. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) with a minimum of three (3) months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
