  • Established Annual Revenue Target
  • Weekly Sales Expectations active sales 4 days per week (10-15 calls per week)
  • Update Prospect Management Account list on a weekly basis
  • New Business reported and maintained on a monthly basis
  • Attend and report sales activity on a weekly basis via direct meeting or conference call
  • Responsible for new business development air, ocean, logistics services warehousing/distribution
  • Expected to make between 10-15 direct customer sales calls per week
  • Responsible for managing a customer list of 30-35 target accounts (existing/potential accounts)
  • Assigned quarterly and annual revenue targets to include overall territory target and individual account targets
  • Responsible for developing strong client relationships with focus on immediate and long term business opportunities
  • Work closely with CS/Operational staff on business implementation, account management and overall account support
  • Revenue Responsibility AE has a 100% Revenue Responsibility

Job Requirements:
  • B.A./B.S. Degree or equivalent or related industry experience
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills
  • Strong computer skills Powerpoint, Word, Excel, Lotus Notes
  • Approximately 3-5 years freight forwarding or logistics industry experience
  • Minimum 2 years direct client selling experience
  • Analytical skill (Familiar with logistics concept and planning concept)
  • NEU Prospect Management System
  • Strong Communication and Presentation skills
  • Strong work ethic and ability to focus on results and new business generation
  • Ability to work autonomously and efficiently manage a dynamic sales territory and account base
  • Ability to quickly assess customer needs and present pro-active solutions
  • Strong time management skills setting appointment, territory management, meeting preparation/follow-up etc.
  • Strong teamwork skills and inclination
  • Strong communications skill listening, public speaking, providing and receiving feedback
  • Process improvement
  • Influencing skills in a matrix environment
  • Ability to understand, develop and maintain multi-cultural relationships
  • Patience ability to deal with complex processes that may involve multiple levels of approval
