We are currently seeking a Full-Time Air Export Specialist to join our team in West Chicago, IL.

Duties Include:
  • Quoting clients for new shipments
  • Arranging trucking and loading for clients
  • Ensuring cargo loaded & returned to airport through consistent follow-up
  • Communicating all shipment details to all parties involved
  • Collecting & Reviewing customer documents
  • Filing shipment data with US Customs (AES/SED through ACE)
  • Preparing House & Master airwaybill details
  • Preparing and submitting document package to airline with freight
  • Providing accurate proof copies to shippers and agents
  • Ensuring accuracy of data and documentation
  • Questioning data that is inconsistent
  • Billing freight charges to accounts
  • Sending Pre-Alert to destination offices
  • Scanning and Closing files internally
  • Ensuring all shipment and document-related issues are resolved in timely manner

Skills Required:
  • 3 Min. Years Air Export experience preferred but not required
  • Attention to Detail
  • Sense of Urgency on tasks put before you
  • Strong Organizational & Communication Skills
  • Ability to clearly communicate daily with customers and agents
  • Excellent follow-up skills
  • Dedication to Quality of Work & Customer Service produced
