Key position in new division of a well-established asset-based carrier. Will report to the VP of Sales and have direct sales responsibility for a large region of the country, primarily east of the MS River. Division currently has trucks in operation and will additional support from the existing trucking and multiple warehouse network. Operation will be primarily box trucks making critical deliveries in the regions currently serviced by existing facilities. In addition to selling expedited on-demand services the division is also developing dedicated route business.
For consideration, candidates should have prior transportation sales experience in final mile or expedited B2B delivery services. Must be a hunter and a closer.
