Job Requirements for the air & ocean export dept.
  • Proven ability to learn new procedures fast.
  • Minimum 2-years direct experience
  • Understand all documentation requirements for air and ocean exports.
  • Obtain and file, for quick reference, export rates for air & ocean services.
  • Negotiate with air and ocean carriers to reduce transport costs.
  • Document export operations procedures for air & ocean shipments.
  • Understand and apply Incoterms 2000 for export shipments.
  • Understand and establish procedures to comply with, TSA and FMC regulations.
  • Possess an adequate working knowledge of : OUTLOOK-EMAIL/MS WORD/ MS EXCEL.
  • Send, Receive and file important email communications.
  • Respond to export rate inquiries within 24-hours.

Job Requirements for the air & ocean import dept.
  • Proven ability to learn new procedures fast.
  • Proven management and employee training experience.
  • Proven excellent customer-relations and communications.
  • Know import air and ocean process- from the date the customer faxes you the order to the date of delivery.
  • Understanding of the US customs brokerage process & docs needed to clear many types of shipments.
  • Computer skills : Email-Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel.
  • Typing : minimum 55 Wpm (tested).

Duties of this Position
  • Complete our training program 2 weeks.
  • Ensure the delay-free progress of the shipments of your own customers (accounts) and those of the Jr. Customer Account Managers.
  • Ensure that all customers receive timely updates regarding the progress of their shipments.
  • Create new procedures, and new training materials to document those procedures.
  • Communicate (via email, telephone, fax) with our overseas and domestic agents, plus organizing those communications for quick access at a later date

Secondary skills :
  • Proven ability to handle air and ocean export shipments.
  • International and domestic Freight Routing skills.
  • Knowledge of reliable customs brokerage and trucking companies around the USA, for delivery of import or domestic trucking shipments.
