Opportunity Overview:

Mainfreight Chicago is seeking a dynamic and personable Sales Executive who is driven by success, whether it be their own, their team, or Mainfreight as a whole.

As a Sales Executive at Mainfreight Chicago, you'll be using your problem-solving skills to make quick decisions while also building your own book of business based on relationships and global partnerships. You will be supported by a large outreach of team members and sales leaders as you learn about the roles with firsthand exposure to the day-to-day work.


  • Independently manage a sales plan and execute that plan to success.
  • Prospect with a "hunter" mentality via phone, internet, fieldwork, referrals, industry networking, and trade shows
  • Outside sales: facilitate face-to-face meetings, present proposals and solutions, close business in person
  • Meet specific revenue and sales goals

In this role, you will have the freedom and encouragement to proactively seek out and develop future initiatives. All this is done from within an autonomous, close-knit, supportive, ambitious and fun team environment.

  • Demonstrate a proven track record in face-to-face sales
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to plan and organize your time effectively
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills working in a fast-paced environment

Through our training programs, you will gain a strong understanding of and passion for our Mainfreight product and Global Supply Chain Network, as well as selling to an Ideal Mainfreight Customer.
