Operations Project Manager - 1st Shift - Lebanon, IN - XPO Logistics

1st Shift, Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm

As the Operations Project Manager, you will support key strategic projects across the business, working cross-functionally to implement solutions, troubleshoot problems and monitor the effectiveness of strategic initiatives. What you'll do on a typical day:

  • Provide administrative support, project management and operational analysis to the Vice President of Operations
  • Identify areas of opportunity and present findings to leadership
  • Analyze and manipulate data in various Excel and PowerPoint reports
  • Create presentations for senior leadership
  • Execute various administrative tasks and operations projects across cross-functional teams
  • Build strong relationships and collaborate with senior leadership to support company goals
  • Support other project managers and project team members as needed

What you need to succeed at XPO:

At a minimum, you'll need:

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, or related field or equivalent work or military experience
  • 1 year of experience in operations, preferably in manufacturing or logistics
  • Lean or Six Sigma experience
  • Project management experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

It'd be great if you also have:

  • Master's degree
  • Lean or Six Sigma Certification and/or PMP
  • Availability to travel up to 10% of the time
  • 2 years of warehouse operations experience
  • Experience with lean process training (Six Sigma or Kaizen)
  • Strong Excel analysis and PowerPoint presentation skills
  • Excellent leadership, communication, organizational and time management skills
  • Experience executing various projects such as employee appreciation and team-building events
  • Experience in a customer-facing role
  • Microsoft Project experience
