Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour

Commodity Forwarders Inc. is looking for a responsible experienced logistics professional to help coordinate the daily activities. You will implement production, productivity, quality and customer service standards and achieve the appropriate level of volume within time constraints.

The ideal candidate will be a competent individual who comes with a high level of integrity, is able to problem solve, can think on one's feet, can make good sound decisions, and possess the skill set of a good leader. Let us know if you're the one for the job.

We are looking for a full-time Import Customer Service agent to fill within our Operations department. This is a non-exempt position with an hourly rate between $17 - $19/hr depending on experience.

Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Basic Computer Skills including e-mail, web browsing, Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.
  • Strong grasp of geography to determine best freight forwarding routes.
  • Excellent customer service and vendor relations skills.
  • Must be able to read, write and clearly communicate with poise and confidence in English over the phone and in person with customers, vendors and staff.
  • 40-50 Hours per week and 5-6 days per week depending on season including weekend and holiday coverage.
  • 24-hour 7-day a week operation.

Education and Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Eligible to work in the US and pass TSA background check
  • 2 years Customer Service experience in logistics.
  • Bi-lingual English and Spanish preferred.
