What you'll do on a typical day:

  • Support administration of benefits plans including day-to-day administration, compliance teting and annual enrollment
  • Process and reconcile all H&W invoices with our carriers and accounting team. Maintain a payment tracking spreadsheet of all outgoing payments, premiums collected through payroll, COBRA, and direct bill
  • Review and research H&W escalations and coordinate resolution with carriers
  • Serve as a liaison between employees and vendors
  • Provide support on data file issues between TPA, carriers and GXO related to eligibility, enrollment, and other employee life events
  • Monitor vendor case resolution within performance standards and regulatory compliance; reduce time to resolve complex inquiries
  • Review communication pieces internally and externally for accuracy
  • Conduct benefit premiums and enrollment audits quarterly
  • Assist benefit team with compliance related processes, special projects and ad hoc requests; involvement in escalated cases when needed
  • Assist Shared Services team with benefit inquiries
  • Identifies and recommends improvements to current processes to ensure plan efficiencies and overall performance is aligned with objectives and metrics

What you need to succeed at GXO:

At a minimum, you'll need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, HR or a related field or equivalent related work or military experience
  • 1 year of experience in a benefits role
  • Experience in benefits processes and regulations (FMLA, HIPAA, IRS regulations, etc.)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel
  • Knowledge of HR and benefits systems

It'd be great if you also have:

  • 3 years of experience in HR or a related field
  • Experience working in a shared services organization
  • Ability to work well in a team environment; strong relationship management skills with a customer focus
  • Solid problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Outstanding process and query management skills
