What You'll Do

Primary Responsibility:
Serve as the Korber/Highjump WMS subject matter expert as pertains to configuration, business logic, software configuration and operational process deemed key to the daily plant operation within Americold. Apply proven communication, analytical and problem-solving skills to the software development life cycle in their designated area. Drive out the key global business requirements and translate into workable requirements containing process information, data flows, comprehensive functional specifications and test plans - challenging any requests that may be unreasonable or unnecessary - and ultimately ensuring that project deliverables are met according to requirements. Creation and maintenance of up-to-date documentation pertaining to core IT processes, software and business logic, software configuration as well as identification of hardware and infrastructure used to support. Create and provide structured training and/or content for other IT members. Provide detailed knowledge and support to all levels of the organization as required.

Essential Functions:
• Responsible for systemic warehouse configuration(s) for Highjump WMS conversions.
• Has a firm understanding of how Korber/Highjump functions and serves as an expert to the sites and other team members.
• Perform majority of level two support on critical applications within the Americold organization, escalating as required
• Travel to field locations to ensure successful implementation. Estimated up to 75% depending on release schedule. Normal around 50%.

Level of Expertise:

• LEVEL II: Performs work under minimal supervision for small to medium-sized projects. May require more supervision for larger, more complex projects. Maintains an intermediate-level workload. Requires 2-5 years of Analyst level experience.

• LEVEL III: Performs work with little to no supervision - provides guidance to lower-level & less experienced developers. Acts as project leader on large, complex projects. Maintains a senior-level workload. Fully capable of working at the highest technical level. Requires 5 years of Analyst level experience.

What Experience You Need

Qualifications & Experience:

Education, Training & Professional Experience:
• Bachelor's Degree or some college preferred plus 2-5 years of experience in technical fields; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience with implementing, configuring and maintaining ERP software applications functionality such as WMS, Distribution, Transportation, and Labor Management. Korber/Highjump e3PL is Required.
• Warehouse operations management experience desired.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft applications to include Project, Excel, Word and Experience and/or knowledge of FMEA, ITIL, COBIT, ISO, and Project Management Methodologies.
• Demonstrates uncompromising level of integrity and code of ethics.
• Some travel required.

• Occasionally works evenings or weekends in order to complete objectives or to attend meetings
• Requires the ability to relate to others beyond giving and receiving instructions: must partner with colleagues without exhibiting behavioral extremes
• Requires the performance of work activities including reasoning, negotiating, instructing, persuading, or speaking with others; and respond appropriately to constructive feedback from executive management
