Position Summary:
Penske has invested several million dollars in a state-of-the-art commissions system for our contract sales team with the intent to expand its use to support commissionable roles enterprise wide. This system will provide greater transparency on commission payment while also providing significantly more flexibility in commission plan structure. In addition, this role will provide critical insight to the user experience of the system and recommend enhancements across our $70 million+ commission expense.
Major Responsibilities:
- Respond to sales associate inquiries regarding commissions paid on deals executed by Contract Administration
- Appropriately escalate commission-related issues to other departments (HR, IT, Compensation, etc.) for resolution
- Analyze commission inquiry data and recommend solutions to proactively address issues
- Consult on improvements to the commissions system and plan to enhance the internal customer experience
- Participate in and lead commission-related projects
- Assist manager in validating commission files submitted to Payroll
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree required
- 2 yrs. of Customer Service, Sales, and/or Analytics experience required
- Customer Service, Sales, and/or Analytics experience required.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office.
- Working knowledge of key Penske systems preferred (Varicent, AS400, SalesForce).
- Strong analytical skills
- Outstanding organizational skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
- Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening are required.
