A critical member of our North American Marketing team, this role is responsible for organizing, managing and creating internal and external market intelligence reports which help create the foundation for company strategy and product vitality.
The Market Intelligence Analyst is focused on aligning corporate strategies with regional sales priorities, specifically:
Compile industrial economics insights in support of the quarterly earnings release, the annual business plan and the 5-year forecast.
Maintain, and develop, a Marketing Information System that includes long term historical sales and profitability database, and the Installed Base database with a vast Timken product and application knowledge.
Create user friendly sales, orders and CRM reports to support market strategy and market analysis.
Ensure internal market segment and channel master data integrity via customer workflow management systems.
Manage external marketing economic and intelligence datasets and tools and provide recommendations regarding ongoing viability, and appropriate use of such toolsets for market outlook.
Lead the delivery of integrated marketing, business, and economic datasets, including definition, synthesized findings, building of new models, and reporting periodically to key stakeholders (including Executive leadership).
Bachelor's Degree and at least 4 years' relevant experience in marketing, economic reporting, market intelligence or business analytics preferred, equivalent years of experience and education will be considered in lieu of bachelor's degree
Position level will be dependent upon years of qualified, relevant experience and education
