Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team in Miami. This role is focused on expanding revenue and building strategic partnerships within the international freight forwarding industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive new business development and expand our client portfolio
- Manage and strengthen relationships with key clients and overseas agents
- Lead a remote team across Brazil, Colombia, and Spain
- Grow our agent network within WCA and Parnity alliances
- Attend WCA conferences to maximise new opportunities
- Identify market trends and emerging business prospects
- Collaborate across departments to ensure operational success
- 6–7+ years' experience in international freight forwarding sales
- Experience working with agents (overseas/local)
- Bilingual: English and Spanish required; Portuguese is a plus
- Strong communication, leadership, and negotiation skills
- Self-starter with the ability to manage remote teams
- Willingness to travel for industry events and meetings
- Base Salary: $80,000 – $120,000 USD + performance-based bonus
