Sales Executive – Transportation & Vertical Solutions

Location: REMOTE or Hybrid – Preference for candidates based near major metro areas in Virginia (VA)

Industry: Logistics, Transportation, Specialized Relocation Services

Compensation: Competitive base salary commission full benefits

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Sales Executive to sell tailored logistics and relocation solutions into high-value verticals. This is a full-lifecycle sales role focused on developing business within industries that demand precision, security, and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate brings deep transportation knowledge, strong consultative sales skills, and a track record of closing complex deals.

Key Verticals of Focus:

  • Technology (data centers, infrastructure moves)
  • Healthcare (hospitals, clinics, lab moves, medical devices, pharma/life sciences)
  • Aerospace & Defense
  • Government & Public Sector
  • Arts, Exhibits & Museums

Core Responsibilities:

  • Prospect, develop, and close new business with a focus on long-term client partnerships
  • Conduct client needs assessments and build custom solutions in partnership with operations and pricing teams
  • Generate proposals, manage contracts, and navigate complex RFPs and procurement cycles
  • Deliver polished, high-impact presentations to decision-makers and key stakeholders
  • Represent the company at industry conferences, networking events, and trade shows
  • Maintain accurate CRM data and sales activity reporting

What We're Looking For:

  • 3 years of sales experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain solutions
  • Vertical-specific knowledge or direct sales experience in one or more of the key industries above
  • Ability to identify client pain points and present value-driven solutions
  • Highly self-motivated with exceptional communication, organizational, and negotiation skills
  • Proficiency with CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and virtual presentation tools
  • Experience selling to government or regulated sectors is a plus
